April 24, 2004. Tentative schedule is Jan. - Draft rules will be announced through the robofest mailing list Feb. - Informational Meeting Feb. - Official Rules will be announced and registration will begin on the web Mar. - 2nd Informational Meeting Apr. 24 - Robofest 2004 Day (2) Hosting Robofest 2004 Since Lawrence Tech can serve maximum 70 teams, we are looking for additional sites to host Robofest 2004, anywhere in the world. If you are interested in or know someone who might be Interested in, please contact chung@ltu.edu (3) A New Course Announcement at LTU: Robotics in Tech Ed Lawrence created two new classes for everyone who is interested in using computerized robotics for improving K-12 educational environments. Everyone with the following background is eligible to take the class: computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, math, physics, engineering technology, science education, technology education, technical communication, and among others. (4) Summer Camp 2003 Report Robofest summer camp 2003 was held on Sat. July 26, at LTU. Students completed perhaps the first synchronized robot dance party. Robot movements were synchronized by sending and receiving IR messages.
